How online dog training works
- Sign up online. Enrol in the Basic Needs of a Dog Online Training through our online course portal.
- Get access straight away. You receive a simple step by step program with written lessons supported by video explanations that demonstrate the training for you.
- Train at your own pace. Work through each lesson when it suits you and practise with your dog at home.
- Refer back for a year. The course stays available to you for 12 months, so you can check in any time and make sure you are meeting all your dog's basic needs.
Online training for puppies and adult dogs
The same science evidence based, force free methods Zigrid uses in person are taught online, so new puppy owners and owners of older dogs can start at home. When an in-home visit is the better choice
Online training is a great place to start, but some problems need a hands-on approach. For more serious problems such as aggression or separation anxiety, an in-home behaviour consult with Zigrid may suit you better. Consults run for around two hours, include a written report and a training modification program designed for your dog, and are followed by a phone call 10 days later.
