Full training consultations with Zigrid, a dog training specialist in Brisbane, are around two hours or longer if needed. Zigrid likes to take the time to really get to know you and your dog and give you a thorough understanding of your dog’s behaviour and show you exactly how to implement the training changes that are needed. Zigrid only uses science evidence based, fear free, force free training methods that reward positive behaviour.

During the consult Zigrid will show you how to at all times allow your dog to take part in the learning and training process. By implementing just 2 of our strategies you should see improvements in your K9 buddy’s behaviour within 48hrs.

Behaviour training consultations include a written report and training modification program designed specifically for your dog's behaviour needs. Zigrid also provides a phone call 10 days later plus on-going phone help if needed.

K9 Behaviour Assessments

I offer a thorough 90 minute assessment in Brisbane, where I personally evaluate your dog's behaviour and provide you with a clear understanding of why the behaviour is happening.

At the start of the session I will set your dog up for success in the aim of not seeing the behaviours you are concerned about. If your dog displays the unwanted behaviour we look at the intensity of the behaviour at the time compared to how they normally would behave, this will determine the best way forward?

I handle your dog for the first part of the session so you can watch and observe while I talk you through your dog's body language, then the lead is passed back to you to start implementing the training techniques there and then.
