K9 - LIFESTYLE TRAINING PROGRAM

Want to fast track your training needs with your dog?  This 4- week program is the way to go. In these private training lessons Zigrid comes to you at a time that suits you! She coaches you to teach your dog how to be a well-mannered family member and a good 4-legged furry citizen of your local community.

THIS PROGRAM BEST SUITED FOR:

• K9 parents who have little or no prior training with their dog
• K9 parents who have not kept up the training with their dog
• K9 parents who have a rescue dog and want to refine their training
• First time K9 parents who have never had a dog before

WHAT THIS TRAINING PROGRAM COVERS:

This training program will allow for any particular problems at home to be addressed because all training takes place in the home environment and out and about in everyday life. This might include pulling on lead, barking, not responding to you outside the home or just working on general etiquette. Zigrid will take you for walks, to the park or to the beach so you can feel confident with your dog no matter where you are! Zigrid only use science evidence based training methods that reward positive behaviour. 

K9 - Communication Program

Dogs and people have 2 different communication systems. Your dog buddy do their best in learning to understand you. But just imagine how empowered you would feel if you could understand what your dog was thinking and feeling and what they are trying to communicate to you!

Having the knowledge and understanding of dog body language or as I like to call it 'dog lingo' is your dog’s passport in life. Our dogs are communicating to us all the time but you are just not listening, as you don’t understand their language. This 4-week program will bring you into your dog’s world to have a greater understanding of dog communication from head to tail.

K9 - Social Programs

Does your dog lack confidence? Perhaps he or she is slightly reactive or over- exuberant with fellow dogs and passers by. Either way, this needs to be dealt with in a friendly, professional and loving environment, which is why we have developed a unique program specifically for this type of issue.

Our K9 Social Programs are 45-60 minutes long, and take place in relaxing outdoor environments such as parks and beaches. We want the dogs to feel happy, safe and comfortable while the training pans out, where Zigrid will show you how to fully understand K9 communication and body language, as well as how to teach your dog the polite way to interact with others. With this program, as a K9 parent you will ultimately gain the confidence you need to be comfortable in socializing your K9 buddy and be the pride of the park and your local community. 

Would you like your K9 buddy to have some fellow K9s to interact with in a safe and controlled environment?

We have weekly social sessions where we meet up at different areas around Brisbane. Dogs get to hang out, explore, interact and play and this gives them the opportunity to keep up their good social skills and for K9 parents to become fluent in canine communication and body language. We usually end the session at the nearest local coffee shop to sit and gossip while the dogs get to practice their on lead etiquette and calm behaviour.
